This was written for Karen Newman to perform. She's most well known for singing the national anthem at Detroit Red Wings games. We went to school together at Oakland University in Michigan,, and I played with her in her bands for a while.
lyrics
You won't tell me, how you feel, how you feel
You won't tell me, what's the deal, you won't squeal.
You keep me at arms length and I haven't the strength
to push by you and see what's inside
You won't tell me, how you feel, how you feel.
You won't show me, what I need, need to see
You won't show me, how to live, you and me
We go round and around, and it never gets clear
and we never come near to a reason why
You Can't Tell Me you love me
and you can't tell me why
and you can't tell me why
So I'm waiting, for the day, for the day
So I'm waiting, till you say go away
Not much hope, not much hope, at the end of my rope
and I fear that the ending is near because
You Can't Tell Me you love me
and you can't tell me why

Yes, it's too difficult for me to sing, I wrote it for a better singer!
