Probably my only song about philosophy. I read a book about Chaos Theory. It didn't change my life, but it did allow me to express my thoughts about life.
lyrics
Call me Eddy, 'cause that is all I am
I'm a fleck of bubbly foam, on a wave that gently beats the sand.
The tide will bring me in, leave me swirling in some backwash on the beach.
I'll settle in a moment, but while I can I'll see what I can reach.
Call me, call me, Eddy
Call me Windy, 'cause that is how I feel
I might just set your hat on end, that's what it takes to show you I am real.
I know that you can't see me, I know I'll never pass this way again.
When all your hats are on the ground I'll know that I'm not just a might have been.
Call me, call me, Windy
Call me Sparky, 'cause that's all I hope to be
And when I land on autumn leaves I'll start a fire that jumps from tree to tree.
I might be very small, and I might not burn for very long at all.
But in the dark you'll see me, and I'll leave a mark wherever I might fall.
Call me, call me, call me, call me, call me, call me, Eddy.
